How it's made

Want to see how the sausage gets made?

Here's one real Sit-Down, start to finish. The transcript landed at 11:10 in the morning. At 3:26 that afternoon, his site was live on his own domain.

Todd Wall and Well Said

Todd spent thirty years in broadcasting. He's writing a book called Well Said, and he wanted a website and a service for speakers headed to the main stage.

He didn't fill out a form. He talked into his phone, and then we talked it through. That transcript is where everything below came from.

"My speaking philosophy will be called Well Said because that's currently the book I'm working on."

"We know that a message is not about charisma. Form beats content."

From Todd's phone transcript. It's messy. That's fine.
What happened, in order

Six steps from his words to a live site

Every piece came out of what Todd said. Anything he didn't say went in as a blank for him to fill, never a guess.

  1. The game plan

Everything he said, sorted into one page: his method in his own words, the offers he described, what to build, fifteen ways to spread it, and the list of things only he could decide.

When Todd said "four elements" and then named five, the plan caught it and asked him.

  2. His method on one page

His philosophy laid out in the order a talk actually runs, plus a slide deck with speaker notes in his own words. The next day he added a fifth piece, the assumed antidote. Every page got it in one pass.

  3. A one-sheet to hand out

A single page for event planners: the problem their audience has, his method, and what working with him looks like. Ready to print.

  4. The website

Seven pages, built in the order that earns money soonest. Todd wanted his photo edge to edge, and we added a live countdown clock like the one on a stage or in a radio booth. The homepage gives you thirty seconds, the same thirty seconds an audience gives a speaker.

  5. What only he knows

Every blank on every page went onto one list he could answer from his phone, with a note on what each answer unlocks. Then a timed call agenda for the stuff faster to say out loud.

  6. Live on his domain

The homepage and his free Opening Audit went up first, inside his own CV Pro Tools account, on draft.wellsaidmethod.com. The form drops every lead into his CRM and emails him. He added one DNS record. We did the rest.

Why it works

A few rules I don't break

Your words, not mine

Your site says what you said. I clean it up. I don't make it up.

Blanks, not guesses

If I don't know a price, a date or a name, it stays a blank until you fill it.

You own it

It's built in your own account, on your own domain, and you can change it later.

Built on CV Pro Tools

The same system behind every Clear Vision client: website, forms, follow-up and texting in one place.

Your turn

Your sit-down works the same way

  1. Book a time and answer a few short questions.
  2. Sit down for an hour, recorded. I ask. You talk.
  3. I build it from your own words: your plan, your site, your follow-up, a short video of you.
  4. You fill the blanks and walk through it. Then it goes live.
